Justin and his parents worked this weekend at the new place getting things ready for us to move in at the end of the month. I do love the new place. It is peaceful, quiet, secluded.....but......it is in the country. I mean waaaaaaaay out in the country (okay, only 15 miles but that is far in my world).
It will grow on me soon enough I know.
I am just not a fan of snakes, bugs, spiders, etc. They've killed one rattlesnake and a few black widows so far. See, this does not excite me.
BUT the place is beautiful! It is 170 acres of peace.
And did I mention Justin has reverted back to a 5 year old at Christmas? He is absolutely obsessed with the place. I get excited watching him stay giddy 24/7 about moving.
They cleared out the road leading to the house. I'm sure getting out to open/shut a gate will grow on me......right?
And when I get to the house and look back, I'm sure I won't be thinking about how if someone decided to come murder me that no one would hear me scream......right?
That's my mother-in-law busting her tail. She works harder then any grown man I've ever met.....seriously!
Don't mess with her and her mission.
Did I mention that there are no child labor laws in the country?
And when daddy takes us out in the truck so we can watch him check deer feeders.....we get bored and play
You know you live in the country when this is in your backyard
And when I start to freak out, I think about spending an afternoon with my family here...
fishing, laughing, and feeling free......
And that makes me smile!

I love it! I looks so peaceful.
I hear ya on the "if-someone-tried-to-kill-me-no-one-would-hear-me-scream" thoughts, but I am a chicken! :) Aaron wants to move outside of town, too, but I keep saying NOPE, NOPE, NOPE. I need to just go with it, because it is so beautiful and so peaceful, and I know the kids would just love it! Anyhow, I'll just have to keep up with you and see how you manage! ;)
